Expending energy in the sunny Yorkshire countryside
The summer holidays can feel like long stretch for parents, continually having to think of new, exciting and cost-effective ways to keep the children entertained.
Thankfully for the mums, dads, stepparents, guardians and grandparents of Ilkley, the outdoor adventure and play centre Nell Bank opened its grounds for families to explore, take part in bug safaris, splash around with water play, splat rats, scale the adventure playground and much more.
I was invited to one of these Discovery Days to capture the fun the kids (and their adults) were having in the West Yorkshire sunshine. So many happy faces and, given the amount of energy expended, hopefully easier bedtimes!
