When I meet couples prior to their wedding day, naturally, the weather almost always comes up in the conversation. And when your big day is a woodland wedding, it's understandable that the weather becomes a key factor in any plans, thoughts and considerations!
I've worked in all sorts of weather and relish any opportunity to be out with a camera. But my day at Falling Foss was one of the wettest weddings I've witnessed. Six months later and I've just about dried off!
Despite a day of such incessant rain, everyone, myself included, had a magical and wonderful time. It was a day full of beautiful moments and great photo opportunities. Speaking to the bride after she received the photos she told me that the weather had made the day unique, and utterly memorable. It was perfect and if she could do it all again, she wouldn't change a thing, even the weather!
Ultimately, it doesn't matter what the weather does, what goes to plan and what doesn't. What matters is that you enjoy the day and create fond memories that can be treasured forever.
